BIO

Twenty years of casting actors for characters as an advertising photographer has given me an innate understanding of what I’m looking for in a headshot of an actor.

​

I don’t want to see an over-retouched, glamorised shot (the current trend that has slipped into the industry from the States) that does not show what you actually look like and what you can actually do character-wise. A photographer or casting director is only going to be disappointed if you look nothing like your headshot when you walk into the casting.

​

I will capture the best version of you, as you really are, that perfect angle that shows your face best. I will get the hero shot and then draw out the range of characters we have decided to work on during our session.

As for me, I am from New Zealand and have been working as a photographer in London for 20 years. After photography, family, food and movies, my greatest love is sport. I'm a former semi- professional rugby player, 3rd Dan black belt in karate, black belt in kick boxing and occasional marathon runner.

I live in North London with my wife and daughter.
